Malachi 3:10(NIV)

10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

Hello Brothers and Sisters, First and foremost I want to thank God that we have been given a privileged to help partner with Christ in expanding the kingdom.

A little bit of history for GCF. GCF started as bible study, a group of friends studying the Word. As we grew in the word, we also grew in the wanting of more of Him. We then prayed and talked about doing more for the kingdom. So we began gathering every other month into the parks, to preach the word. We simple scheduled a Saturday, a location to meet. We brought chairs and our families. We brought our personal guitar and our worship at the park those days. We gathered, as we worshiped, I Pastor Dennis (back then just bible study teacher), took on the role of preacher, as I was the natural candidate since I lead the studies.

As we gathered at park, we noticed that our worship went out into the park. People would walk over place their chairs and join us, walker-bys would stop and listen, a nod an amen. Different picnics groups would turn their chairs towards the service and would listen. We would call an alter call, some would come and accept the Lord, some would raise theirs from far away. It was exciting! God is good.

Then one day, again comes the charge, “We have to do this more than every other month.”  So we prayed, God answered the call a year later I was ordained to carry the burden.

We had no money, so began to do service in a patio of a member’s house. In that year God blessed us. We began to invite All to come, we grew in numbers in Spirit. Then God blessed the opportunity of a center in Fullerton. This center was not your typical center, God remodeled it for us, we were the first tenant. In this center, we had new park built, new building, the grounds were all brand new, we were the first and only tenant on Sundays.

The Blessing, the location we were blessed came not only with items of a park, but it came with it the Brokenness of the world. Homeless was abound. They came from the shelter. From everywhere. So we began to invite them to service “come as your are”. We provided a place of worship for them on Sundays, we provided coffee and donuts in the morning and then lunch at after the service. We gave them the Gospel through service. But something was different, when they came we ask for their names, extended a handshake and ask, “do you need anything, let us know.”  They felt His Love through the people.

Those who came, some stayed for just the day, some came back, some stayed and began to help and became members.  For those who pass through they felt loved of another, they heard their names again, they felt important, they felt like somebody, they heard the Word, all is asked if they want to accept the Lord. For those who accepted “AMEN!”, for those who did not, they were feed the Word, God will do the rest.

We have no special program, we simple Love those who come, we minister the Word and then put out question “Are you saved? Would you like to accept God in life”.  Then we fellowship, we become family.

We say at GCF, “When you come through those doors you’re a guest. When you sit down, you become a member, a life time member of the Kingdom
